Privacy Policy

What we collect

Reading PowwerBets needs no account. If you sign in, we collect your email address. If you use Pro, we also store what you save: your watchlist, starred teams and saved searches.

If you subscribe, Stripe collects your payment details and billing information. We never see or store your card number. We keep a record of your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, plan status and renewal date.

Like any website, our hosting provider receives your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We don't ask you for anything else, and we don't collect your location, contacts or the contents of any trades.

How we use it

We use your email to sign you in and to contact you about your account or billing. We use your saved items to show them back to you, and your subscription record to decide whether you get Pro. We use basic traffic statistics to see which pages work and which break.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who processes it

These services handle data on our behalf, each under its own privacy policy: Supabase (sign-in and our database), Stripe (payments), and Vercel (hosting and privacy-friendly page-view analytics). We share data with them only so the site works. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies and local storage

When you sign in, we set a cookie that keeps you signed in. Your browser also stores your light or dark theme choice. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and the analytics we use doesn't set cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and saved items until you ask us to delete them. Stripe may keep payment records for as long as the law requires, even after we delete your account.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to close your account, by emailing poww3r@outlook.com. You can cancel Pro at any time from your account page. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local privacy law, and we'll honor them.

Security

Sign-in is by emailed link, so there are no passwords to leak, and our provider's access rules limit each account to its own saved data. No system is perfectly secure, though, and we can't guarantee that yours will never be breached.

Children

PowwerBets is for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you think we have, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest version, and we'll note any significant change on the site.
